Poster art for 'From Russia With Love'

Since the first James Bond film 'Doctor No' in1962, the poster images from the 007 movies have become works of art, highly collectable and displayed in art galleries. Several different posters are created for each film, for domestic and International markets, as well as many different language versions. Books and magazines about the posters have been published, allowing collectors to see the range of artwork, many of which was not used in the advertising campaigns for one reason or another. Two of the most famous artists associated with the James Bond film posters are Robert McGinnis and Frank McCarthy, who worked on the 'Thunderball', 'You Only Live Twice' and 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service' posters. McGinnis also designed the artwork for 'Diamonds Are Forever', 'Live and Let Die', 'The Man with the Golden Gun' and the 1967 'spoof' 007 film 'Casino Royale'.

Robert Brownjohn, who designed the film title sequences for 'From Russia With Love' and 'Goldfinger', also designed the artwork for the 'Goldfinger' posters. Bob Peaks artwork was used for 'The Spy Who Loved Me' poster campaign.
