Produced by Gateway Global Ltd in Die-Cast metal with plastic parts in 1:18 scale (approx. 9 1/2" long)
This version of the BMW Z8 appeared in the 1999 film 'The World Is Not Enough' starring Pierce Brosnan as agent 007.
This finely detailed model has an operating steering wheel, a lifting bonnet/hood which displays the detailed engine, opening boot/trunk and doors. The seats have seat belts and when you press down on the gear shift missiles pop out of both sides (see pictures).
The model car is in excellent condition (see Disclosure below). The securing straps were only removed to take photos and are now firmly back in place. The model car has never been removed from its plinth.
The box is also in excellent condition.
Disclosure: To show the missiles, you have to press down firmly on the gear knob. Whilst preparing to take photos, the knob broke off. Although it has been securely glued into place, and has successfuly operated the missile release, I can offer no guarantee that it will not break in future. Therefore, no returns will be accepted on this model if the gear shift knob breaks when you attempt to operate the missiles.
