Western Montana Fair

Race five was for three year old and upwards Thoroughbred fillies over 5 1/4 furlongs.

The winner was a British Columbia horse, No. 3 'Suprisingly' ridden by Ivan Ortiz, Jr. owned and trained by Mark Buckley, bred by Annleigh Holdings Ltd. Second was No. 5 'Filly Dulce' and third No. 2 'Heart Ridge'.

  No. 3 'Suprisingly' (Ivan Ortiz, Jr. in the blue) goes around No. 4 'Aunt Jewell' (Roger Butterfly in yellow).  No. 1 'Mattie's Star' (Carl Hebert in the red) follows up on the rail.

Racing for the finishing line, No. 3 'Suprisingly', a 7 year old mare ridden by Ivan Ortiz, Jr.

Race six was a five furlong race for three year old and upwards Thoroughbred Maidens.

Winner was No. 4 'Paddy Swazzie' from Washington state, ridden by Carl Hebert, owned and trained by Bill Schmitt, bred by Kent and Karen Kerchel. Second was No. 7 'J.D.'s Easter', third was No. 1 'Mightyouious'

Horse No. 6 'Captain Aluppa' (B. J. Connelly in orange) takes an early lead over No. 4 'Paddy Swazzie' (Carl Hebert), before loosing ground on the bend.

The winner is No. 4 'Paddy Swazzie', a 4 year old gelding ridden by Carl Hebert.
